You are dying!
How often do you think about that?
We all KNOW that we are going to die, but have you really accepted that fact, digested its depth?
If you knew you were going to die tomorrow…
What would be different for you?
Who would you call and tell how much you love and appreciate their existence?
What would you be doing?
Who would you be being?
What is holding you back from doing/being that person?
If there is ANYTHING you would change, NOW is the time as today is ALL we have.
Tomorrow is never guaranteed.
I have trained my mind to stay in the present moment so well, through meditation and hypnosis, that I truly see every experience, every encounter with those I meet, the places I go as the GREATEST gift.
Life is a gift.
I love and appreciate life SO MUCH that I DO NOT WISH it to end ANY SOONER than it has to.
As a result, I choose to take control of what I can control.
Therefore, my health is my #1 Priority.
I make it my PRIORITY to TAKE OPTIMAL CARE OF MYSELF each and every day–physically, emotionally, socially, & financially. There are NO EXCUSES around this for me. If nothing else gets accomplished in a day, THESE THINGS WILL.
I do SOMETHING to honor each of these areas every day–some days it might only be 5 minutes. And some days, that’s perfect.
Each day I do something physical as a way to say thank you to my body. Some kind of Enjoyable Exercise. Feels good to move!
I meditate 2 sometimes even 3 times a day to quiet my mind of all the crazy amounts of non-serving thoughts and to remember what’s truly important NOW.
I establish meaningful connections with anyone/everyone I meet whether it’s virtually or in-person. We long to connect, share, and love!
I look at my finances weekly–I call it Money Mondays!–because I know that my money is how I am able to continue loving myself as a way to free myself, and others, and I sure as hell want that to continue! If I feel I’m spending too much, I cut out things that are not as high priority as my freedom. Less is more!
So KNOWING that YOU are going to die too…
First I’d like to ask you,
How healthy are you?
In what areas could you be healthier? Physically? Emotionally? Socially? Financially?
What is ONE THING yo can do THIS WEEK to improve the health of the area most in need in order to create more balance and peace in your life?
How will you stay accountable to that? No excuses.
What would disappoint you and make you the saddest to know you did not accomplish before you died?
This is how you can identify your soul’s longing desire.
And the longer you put off your soul’s biggest desires, the more unhealthy you will become, and the sooner you will die.
I mean..yes, we ARE talking about death here!
But this does not need to be negative!
Thinking realistically about the very finite reality of your life will remind you over and over of what is truly important TO YOU and will motivate you to follow your bliss.
If you’ve ever been really sick, you will probably remember thinking about how you vowed to appreciate your life and your health so much more once you got better.
…until you forgot again, took your health for granted, let yourself get so stressed out and overwhelmed AGAIN, and get sick yet AGAIN…
DO NOT TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED! TAKE A STAND FOR YOUR LIFE!
As a nurse I saw SO many people in the hospital who would do anything to turn back time and make different choices in their lives.
Don’t let yourself become this regretful person..it’s SO not worth it.
This blog is not to overwhelm.
Please remember, that transformation does not occur overnight, but small steps in the right direction will, for sure, ultimately lead you to freedom.
Lovingly digest and begin to move forward–5 minutes a day– Simple as that!
Because in the words of my manager just before I left my nursing job,
Life is too short to be unhappy.”
